Position Overview
TikTok is seeking a Finance BP that will support our global monetization business for European enterprise and Global Gaming. The new hire will support in performing management reporting and budget tracking, providing financial advice to the business team and improving business efficiency, among other responsibilities. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, and is comfortable with adapting to change as our business continues to grow.
Finance BP and Business FP&A is a sub-department of Finance. It aims to improve management efficiency, reduce financial risks and strengthen budget control by providing business analysis and insights, and management reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Advisory: Provide insightful and high-quality financial support and advice to department heads and senior finance managers to facilitate informed decision-making.
2. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare managerial financial reports, track business financial performance, and conduct related financial analysis.
3. Close Procedures: Support key accounts' close procedures, including the validation of accruals and expense amortization.
4. Budget Control: Manage budget control by reviewing project and contract applications for appropriateness and alignment with business needs.
5. Process Optimization: Build and optimize financial processes and related systems to enhance efficiency and mitigate business risks. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement changes.
6. Ad Hoc Projects: Perform special ad hoc projects and analysis on a frequent basis.
Qualifications
- Experience: FP&A or equivalent work experience, with a preference for experience in the internet, media, TMT, or digital advertising industry.
- Multi-Territory Support: Experience in supporting regional multi-territory teams across Europe is preferred.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management, including senior leadership.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, excellent prioritization and multitasking ability, a team player, self-motivated, critical thinker, strong problem solver, agility, and resilience.
- Hard Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and financial analysis. Advanced proficiency in tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google applications.
