Finance Business Partner

I’m currently looking for a post qualified Finance Business Partner to be part of a PE backed business based in Manchester (hybrid working on offer) who need an ambitions, commercially aware Accountant to join their finance team focussing on marketing spend/trends, loyalty and supply-chain.

As the Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in providing financial support and guidance to the business, driving performance and growth alongside working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance, Chief Marketing Officer on marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic partner to the business, providing financial support and guidance to key stakeholders including the Marketing Director.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with non-finance staff, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.
• Provide financial analysis and insight, identifying trends and opportunities to drive performance.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing input and guidance to the business.

Key requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in commercial finance.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand and analyse business performance.
• Experience within the retail sector able to work under pressure during busy periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems would be advantageous.
