As a qualified accountant and experienced Finance Business Partner, you are looking for an opportunity to use your strong analytical and storytelling skills to challenge and influence a broad range of stakeholders up to and including exec level.

As the Finance Business Partner, your role will be to work with us in a period of growth. During which time you will be key in storytelling and influencing both financial and non-financial stakeholders, breaking down jargon and driving forward our Finance Business Partnering vision.

As the Finance Business Partner, reporting directly into the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will have autonomy, a diverse stakeholder base, exposure to the exec team, work alongside a Business Partnering team of 5 and the FP&A team, in an overall Finance function of approximately 50.

Working alongside Directors and your designated business areas you will support our Chief Operating Office and a two large multi-million-pound transformational change programmes (details below) allowing you to have a hand in the strategic direction of AQA as we grow, diversify and aim to shape the future of education and assessments.

• Evaluate and optimise operational processes. Looking at the end-to-end exam series delivery model including technology changes for the benefit of colleagues, customers, and our examining community.
• Examining community engagement programme. Ensuring we are easy to do business with and help us to recruit and retain diverse, high quality and engaged associates.

This is a true Finance Business Partnering role, which means what you will not be doing is Year and Month End Accounts and Audits but instead be given the opportunity to influence, impact and join up the thinking of the business.

Whether you already work in a commercially focused area or are looking for that exposure and accountability and have worked in a Business Partnering model before then this role will offer that and more.
