Hays are currently recruiting for a national consultancy that has been growing year-on-year and now has a need to add to the team and recruit a new Finance Business Partner with a focus on key clients and projects. Their 4 - 5-year business plan will see them grow an additional 50% and part of this new role will help them increase profitability. Based here in Bristol, the team have a great culture and opportunities to progress.
Your new role
The role will report into the Financial Controller and will oversee major projects and clients across the division whilst maintaining the financial compliance and regulatory reporting requirements. The role will support on bids, Business Partner with clients and internal operational managers to ensure the division is as profitable as possible.
- Operational and financial accounting for key clients and major projects in the business
- Ensure costs are attributed to delivery of contracts
- Business partner with operational, projects and other non-finance teams both internally and externally.
- Pricing and bid support to help support decision-making
- Maintain strong financial compliance and regulatory requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong technical skills that can come into the business as a Business Partner. You will have well-developed commercial knowledge and business understanding and should have good excel skills and have excellent communication. This is a broad role with the ability to influence and help support the growth of business. The organisation does ensure that its finance teams see different parts of the business, so there is flexibility to rotate and develop your skills, so progression is encouraged.
What you'll get in return
The client is offering a salary between £60,000 - £75,000 depending on experience. Other benefits include bonus, private healthcare and other flexible benefits to suit you. The team are in the office 2 days per week here in Bristol but close to local transport links, so it would suit someone able to travel from the M4 / M5. There are opportunities for progression and development is encouraged as part of the finance team.
