Finance Business Partner
Central London - Hybrid Working (1-2 days on site p/wk)
£50,000 - £55,000 + benefits
We are looking for a detail focused and commercially minded Finance Business Partner who can lead monthly reporting, analysis and partnering for multiple business areas within a globally recognised education services group.
We are looking for a real people person who thrives when adding value to senior level stakeholders but who also has a strong management accounting and analysis skills.
Wish List
- Late stage studier, qualified accountant or QBE
- Prior experience working in a management accounting capacity - including P&L and B/S control

The Role
The successful Finance Business Partner will manage the following:
- Full responsibility to produce the monthly management accounts for specific business areas
- Proactively raise risks and opportunities by identifying trends and make recommendations to the Commercial Finance Manager.
- Manage the completion of related balance sheets reconciliations, to set deadlines.
- Work closely with senior management to deliver Group’s budgeted / forecasted targets.
- Update and develop financial models which support the robust projection of income and costs, including the medium to long term view, and to challenge (where appropriate) assumptions made by business managers.
- Manage the upload of budget and forecast data into the accounting systems.
- Support the Commercial Finance Manager in the creation of financial resources which support pricing decisions (for example 'Activity Based Costing’ analysis) and continuously monitor.
- Ensure relevant financial models are developed and maintained to support of changing business needs, adapting where required to support the business strategy.
- Provide robust 'Return on Investment’ analysis to support or challenge business cases and present the recommendations in key meetings.
Your Profile
We are looking for an engaging, proactive and diligent finance professional who is adaptable to change and enjoys working extensively with non finance stakeholders.
Someone with prior experience as a Management accountant, Finance Business Partner or financial analyst who is looking to take on a commercial partnering role.
We need someone who has a commercial mindset and the people skills to add value and pro-actively make improvements across the business areas that you manage.
Benefits
£50,000 - £55,000 + benefits. This role is offered on a hybrid basis 1-2 days per week in office. The office is easily located a short walk from major tube lines and the Elizabeth Line.
