Finance Business Partner Position Overview:
This role will provide strategic financial guidance and support key stakeholders as a bridge between the finance team and the business units, ensuring a clear understanding of the financial needs of the business and adherence to the necessary KPIs across the non-finance financial departments. This position will play a key role in bridging the gap between functions and partnering with the department leads to drive success via key financial data and insights to support informed business decision-making. This role will be pivotal in identifying financial risks and opportunities, as well as driving budgeting and forecasting and analysing financial performance.The Finance Business Partner plays a crucial role in the overall financial health and strategic direction of the company.
Finance Business Partner Key Responsibilities:
- Analysing financial performance, identifying variances, trends and areas of improvement and advising on given information
- Coordinating budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Providing insightful financial analysis
- Driving financial data and systems use
- Optimising and simplifying, where necessary, the current financial processes and procedures
- Effectively keeping to set financial timescales and deadlines
- Regularly reviewing and adjusting departmental KPIs and business priorities
- Providing transparent governance to enable effective decision making
- Preparing monthly reports and reporting on group level
- Driving budgeting and forecasting
- Providing commercial analysis
- Driving financial analysis for wider finance team
- Supporting on the company's strategic plan
- Supporting on any ad-hoc projects
Qualifications:
- Qualified (ACCA, ACA OR CIMA)
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven track record partnering with senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset
Working Arrangement:
This role will require the individual to work 3 days in the London office and 2 day working at home.
Salary:
Competitive salary, between £55,000- £64,000 per annum (DoE), and a great benefit's package.
