Finance Coordinator

Venn Group is working with a Public Service organisation to recruit for 2 Finance Coordinators on a 3-6 months interim contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team and provide a proficient and professional payments service while maintaining a reliable control environment. 

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Process payments and payment data across UK and International accounts
• Ensure that appropriate commitment documentation is in place before raising purchase orders, processing supplier invoices or other expenditure claims
• Ensure the provision of a full range of payment services are available and ensuring the most effective use of these systems and processes
• Process credit card statements and ensuring that transactions are aligned with agreed terms and conditions
• Monitor and ensure that finance data protection rules are followed and identify areas where processes can be improved and strengthened
• Uphold the integrity of user access to the organisation’s Finance systems

Ideal candidate profile:

• Prior experience using SAP Finance
• Prior experience in goods and services payments
• A strong understanding of Data Protection legislation and its impact on access control
• Excellent communication skills

Duration: 3-6 months ongoing

Rate: £120 a day, paid through an Umbrella company

Working hours: 35 hours per week

Working pattern: Hybrid (2 days a week in the office)
