Finance Director

Trinity House Group are supporting a North Birmingham based manufacturing business to recruit a high calibre Finance Director.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team and reporting to the Managing Director, you will be fully responsible for the UK Finance function ensuring the group reporting requirements are successfully delivered and business partnering the MD and SLT to drive the business forward.

Responsibilities:

• Lead & mentor the finance team
• Promote Continual Improvement to provide a first class service to the business
• Develop KPI’s and reports to drive business performance
• Build a strong and effective communication and work relationship with Operational stakeholders
• Ensure and exceptional level of financial reporting
• Preparation and reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance
• Statutory accounts preparation
• Liaison with auditors for statutory accounts for UK GAAP compliance
• Budget and forecast preparation.
• Standard cost calculation and analysis
• Corporation tax pack preparation
• Transfer price premium calculations.

Experience Required:

• Highly developed organisational and communication skills
• Ability to business partner at all levels
• Manufacturing experience is preferred
• Excellent IT skills with Excel in particular
• A constructive hands on approach
