Our client is seeking a Finance Director to join an established leadership team, to oversee and lead their finance department and contribute to commercial decision making. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing financial strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring the company's financial health.

Description
Reporting to the Group MD and forming part of the senior leadership team, the Finance Director will play a key role in ongoing commercial decision making whilst taking a hands-on approach to the financial stewardship of the Group.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the Finance department and its personnel.
- Overseeing the production of the monthly group management accounts to strict deadlines.
- Analyse and report significant variances from budget in the accounts for senior executives.
- Production of monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Supervise production of the quarterly Group consolidated accounts.
- Liaise with auditors with regard to the statutory accounts and tax computations.
- Report to monthly group executive meetings on the financial performance of the group companies.
- Ensure full compliance with Group and statutory accounting policies and regulations.
- Maintain employment contracts and ensure the company keeps up to date with current legislation.
- To arrange insurance policies and manage any statutory declarations and returns.
Profile
The successful applicant should possess the following:
· A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
· Experience of Group consolidations with overseas subsidiaries.
· Experience of budgeting and forecasting in a Group environment.
· Strong organisational skills.
· Good IT skills
· Hands on approach and the ability to see and understand the "bigger picture"
· Ability to consistently work to strict deadlines.
· Ability to work under your own initiative with minimal supervision, where necessary.
· Good communication skills in both formal and informal situations with the ability to explain financial results to non-financial managers.
Job Offer
£80,000 - £90000 salary plus benefits to include car / car allowance, bonus, pension and healthcare.
Please note, this is an 'on-site' role, 5 days per week.
