£80,000 - £85,000 PRO RATA
My client, an established specialist IT recruitment agency, are looking for a Finance Director on a part time basis to support the growth of the business. The successful candidate must have recently worked within a Recruitment business and lead a finance function. This is a strategic role that involves producing reports for the board and producing budgets and forecasts. You must have an understanding of invoice discounting and how that feeds into budgeting and cash flow. This position is leading the finance function ensuring succession planning and good staff retention. The company are global and trade in Euros, American Dollars and Australian Dollars.
THE ROLE:
- Work with the Board to manage and improve the Group finance function including preparing annual budgets, cashflow management and forecasting
- Review and identify opportunities to improve existing functions and processes, including monthly/ quarterly MI with greater analysis of our two main income streams of Oracle and SAP sales
- Prepare company reports for third parties as needed from time to time, including working with auditors for the UK company audit and potential future investors
- Manage and develop the existing Accounts team, including upskilling
- Oversee Group payroll and related payments
- Oversee and ensure compliance with relevant country tax authority filings in all relevant countries
- Make recommendations to the Board for improvements of the finance function as well as recommendations to improve profitability and sales opportunities
THE PERSON:
- Qualified Accountant
- Recent experience within a Recruitment Agency heading up the finance function
- Understanding of Invoice Discounting
- Experience of Tax filing
- Experience of multi- currency is desirable
- Experience of managing a finance team and developing staff
