Finance Manager

Superb opportunity to join a growing international business in a senior position. You will manage a small team and look after the monthly management accounts production process, whilst reporting to the Finance Director.

This business has a turnover of circa £50m, and are part of a larger international group.

Description

As the Finance Manager / Financial Controller, you will report into the Finance Director and will take responsibility for the monthly management accounts production process.

This role will include managing a small team - you will be required to oversee and review their work, and support their training and development.

You will take responsibility for ensuring that the internal deadlines are met, providing key insight in the form of sales reports, cost analysis, KPI monitoring etc

You will be required to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing key insight and information, as well as liaising with auditors as necessary.

Profile

The successful candidate for this Finance Manager / Financial Controller role will ideally be:

• Formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experienced in the production of management accounts
• Able to manage, mentor and develop a team
• Commercially minded with the ability to understand the business rather than just report the numbers
• Highly proficient with systems - Excel, Navision etc being particularly relevant.
