Management Accountant

Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a reputable employer within the Tonbridge, Kent area in the appointment of a Management Accountant on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a truly exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant, nearing the end of a contract, immediately available or looking for a fresh challenge to start ASAP.

Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 per annum

Location: Tonbridge, Kent - Car driver required due to rural location

Hours: Mon - Fri (9-5), Office based

Management Accountant responsibilities:

• Preparation of annual budget schedules
• Preparation of management accounts, updates for budget-holders, variance analysis and full-year accounts
• Oversee all financial transactions
• Key stakeholder management, reporting and presentation of reports
• Support with the internal audit process
• Fee analysis
• Support the transactional finance team with debtor management and expenditure
• Provide analysis and track key spend report
• Manage bank accounts
• Maintain a fixed asset register
• Supporting the wider team with project accounting duties

Skills & experience:

• Demonstratable management accounting skills, exposure to preparing a full set of management accounts
• ACCA / CIMA - Part Qualified or Qualified status is advantageous
• Highly organised and strong attention to detail
