Who will you be working for?

This is an exciting, complex and interesting business who have been established for over 60 years. They have a presence in multiple different countries and manufacture a wide range of products with a leading reputation in their industry.

What will the role entail?

• You'll be reporting into the GM and you'll be overseeing all finance activity for the business whilst acting as a trusted partner to the SLT.
• You'll have responsibility for the month end closing process (very quick turnaround due to US reporting) and to have it uploaded on their consolidation software.
• Monthly management reports including P&L and balance sheets
• Responsible for preparing budgets, monitoring sales and profit forecasts and working with the GM to identify risks, trends and opportunities
• Reporting company Tax
• Overseeing invoicing and providing statements to customers
• Managing a team of two (credit controller and accounts assistant) and ensuring their ongoing development
• Managing risk, liaising with auditors and ensuring the business is compliant with relevant legislation.

What Qualifications and Experience do you need?

• Degree qualified
• CIMA OR ACCA Qualified ideally
• Exceptional experience with month end financial reporting
• Commercially minded
• Solid understanding of IFRS Accounting Standards
• Experience with SOX and ICoFR internal control framework would be beneficial
• Audit experience would be viewed positively.
• Working with Oracle or similar ERP.
• Analytical experience dealing with large data sets, manipulation and complex reporting.
• Enjoys managing a team
• Strong report writing and presentation skills
