Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe is currently seeking a Group Finance Manager on a 6 month FTC, to take responsibility for complete accounting records of the company, with a salary of £80,000-£95,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities
- Responsible for complete and accurate accounting records for Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe Ltd (ANDEL) and its wholly owned UK registered companies, in accordance with IFRS (4 and 17).
- Manage month end, quarter end and annual Group close. Ensuring tasks are completed as scheduled.
- Manage the Group IFRS 16 process and bookings.
- Preparation and booking of the quarterly reinsurance statements with the main reinsurer Aioi Nissay Dowa Japan.
- Preparation and submission of quarter-end Group consolidated results under IFRS 17 and related analysis to Aioi Nissay Dowa Japan, the Japanese parent.
- Preparing Group SII own funds and SCR reporting required by Aioi Nissay Dowa Japan, liaising with the regulatory reporting teams in UK and Germany to explain movements on a Group basis.
- Management of one team member
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA
- General Insurance experience (Minimum 5 years)
- Completion of Statutory Accounts under UK GAAP and Group Consolidation under IFRS
- IFRS knowledge (IFRS 9, IFRS 16, IFRS 17)
- Experienced SUN user and Excel (Vision XL or Executive) and Word
