This role would suit a qualified financial professional with an exceptional work ethic and previous management experience.
The successful candidate will sit on the school’s Finance, Grounds & Premises, and Safety & Compliance Committees and will work closely with the school’s Senior Leadership Team.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Developing Financial Policies
- Budget Management and Forecasting
- Financial Accounting
- Production of Management Accounts
- Treasury Management
- Financial Compliance
- Procurement and Expenditure
- Oversee Payroll and Fee Billing
- Oversee stock control
Some Bursarial Duties will also be undertaken or overseen by the Finance Manager. These include liaison with external HR advisors, working closely with the school’s admissions team, employment contract lead and IT and Estates teams.
The Person:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience with Sage accounting systems
- Previous experience within the education sector
- Excellent communication skills
