Your new company
A prominent north-west housing association has an exciting new job for a Finance Manager. The organisation is a large organisation that is a registered social landlord and is a not for profit body.
Your new role
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small Financial Accounts team in the preparation of monthly accounting information. You\'ll ensure that the month end is completed efficiently and all balance sheet reconciliations and analysis are completed in a timely fashion.
You\'ll lead on the annual audit and year end process and advise on technical accounting matters.
You\'ll liaise with treasury to manage cashflow planning and will work alongside colleagues in management accounts to ensure that monthly reporting is accurate.
What you\'ll need to succeed
This job would be an ideal first step for an experienced auditor or accounts preparation accountant looking to make their first move from practice. You must be a fully qualified accountant and be able to work from the Liverpool office 1 day per week.
Prior leadership experience would be an advantage.
