An opportunity for a part or newly-qualified accountant to join a leading Swindon employer in a role that has an emphasis on financial accounting. Created through growth and internal promotion, the role offers good potential for future career progression and an insight in to a range of business units.
Role profile
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Production of statutory accounts under FRS101/102
- Quarterly group reporting
- Liaising with external auditors
- Overseeing a high standard of ledger management
- Ensuring a robust controls environment
- Finance point of contact for certain technical areas
- Supporting business development activities such as due diligence and M&A support
Qualities required
We are fairly open on someone's qualification status. You might be part-qualified, a finalist or already qualified but what's crucial is having the right character, being able to problem-solve, possessing great communication skills and having an awareness of the commercial implications of financial decisions. You might be working in a similar role in industry or be looking to make that first move in to industry from an accountancy practice
