Due to internal promotion, the position of Finance Manager becomes available and an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join their thriving team.
The Role: As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Director and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy finance department. From Management Accounts preparation to general finance activities, your contributions will be vital to their success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management Accounts preparation/analysis
- Process payroll
- Sales Pipeline management
- Flash Forecast Preparation
- Oversee credit control
- Oversee sales invoicing process
- Credit checking/opening new customer accounts
- Assist accounts assistant with phone + accounts mailbox
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Prepare supplier payment runs
- Manage Purchase Orders
- Manage petty cash
- Credit card reconciliations
- Act as a point of contact for all accounts-related inquiries
- Assist accounts administrator as needed
Person Specification: Essential:
- Strong IT skills, proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with suppliers, customers, and staff
- Numeracy and attention to detail for accurate analysis
- Team player with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritise tasks, and take initiative
Desirable:
- Experience using Xero accounts package
