We are supporting a Not-for-Profit in Manchester to recruit a Finance Manager (Part Time, 2-3 days). The role is paying GBP38,000 - GBP42,000 FTE and offers hybrid working.
This Not-for-Profit plays a vital role for the support of young people, their offices are based in the heart of Manchester.
Finance Manager (Part Time, 2-3 days):
- Lead with the year-end annual accounts process, working closely with the external auditors.
- Produce the annual budgets.
- Pull together and produce the management accounts pack
- Lead on all finance system upgrades.
- Implement efficient financial processes and procedures.
- Present financial figures to the CEO, Senior Leadership and Board of Trustees.
- Ownership of Financial Governance and Risk for the Charity.
- Provide input to contracts, bids and tender project work.
- Manage a small team.
- Complete the necessary Government and Annual Returns.
- Ownership of all VAT and Tax related duties
- Management of Payroll (currently outsourced).
Finance Manager (Part Time, 2-3 days):
- Ideally you will be ACA, ACCA, CGMA/CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent qualified. QBE or PQ will be considered.
- It is essential you have worked within a Not-for-Profit SME setting before.
- Self-starter, strong team player and excels working within a diverse role.
- Confident to lead and liaise with the external auditor during year-end.
- You must have a track record of putting together a management accounts pack.
- It is critical you have prior experience being part of a Senior Leadership Team, adding strategic value from a Finance, Risk and Governance perspective.
- Improvement of finance systems and processes is desirable.
- Prior experience working closely with Directors, Board of Trustees and the CEO is essential.
