Job Description
Service Care Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Somerset for a Finance Officer on a temporary basis.
This is a fully remote position and will require the postholder to assist with the monitoring of the revenue budget in accordance with relevant guidance and within tight deadlines, provide financial and non-financial information required in accordance with all relevant guidance and deadlines and ensure all income and expenditure is correctly accounted for within the finance system.

Candidate Criteria

• CCAB/CIMA Qualified Accountant


• Experience of monitoring budgets, demonstrating experience of meeting service standards, targets and deadlines


• Significant experience of working in a finance environment within a Local Authority/Government setting


• Great communication and IT skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
