Finance Officer

Duties:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department
Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Assist in closing of accounts
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support
Work on capital and revenue
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, Workday, PeopleSoft, Sage, Xero, etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
The Finance Officer will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the company. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with various financial software. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate financial reporting and will challenge budget' managers in their monitoring KPIs

This is a part-time job, 26 hours/week, for an initial 5 month period.
Payrate: Regular: GBP20.00/hour. Sat: GBP30.00/hour. Sun: GBP40/hour.
