The role is finance and data office, Use of Capita EMS and Myresourses Oracle. Ideally someone whom has invoice experience and understanding IR35 if possible. A good understanding of English for both verbal and written communication. Knowledge of School funding would be an advantage and Dfe data requirements.

As a Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance and data functions of our client's organisation. You will be responsible for handling financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial data. Your keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills will contribute to the smooth running of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Handle invoice processing and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and update financial databases.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding financial queries.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in finance and data roles.
- Familiarity with financial systems such as Synergy and Myresources Oracle (training will be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Knowledge of invoice processing and understanding of IR35 regulations (preferable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Knowledge of school funding (advantageous).
