Role: Finance Officer

Hourly rate: £28k to £34k
Sellick Partnership are currently looking to recruit a Finance Officer for our Public Sector client based in Sheffield.
Role Purpose:
- Support in the provision of clear, accurate and timely financial information
- Act as a single point of contact for routine financial matters
Key responsibilities for the Finance Officer:
- Profile all revenue, capital and grant budgets
- Upload the annual budget and reconcile to Oracle General Ledger
- Prepare routine budget working papers for the budget setting process
- Budget Monitoring
- Calculate all accruals, prepayments, collaboration adjustments and external recharges
- Gather, analyse, and reconcile pay data to pay budgets
- Capital Monitoring
- Carry out year-end duties
- Balance sheet Management
- Costing
Person specification for the Finance Officer:
- AAT qualified
- Experience of working in a financial environment
- The ability to analyse finance data
