Finance Officer

This organisation is looking for a Finance Officer to cover a maternity contract on a flexible part-time basis for 2 days per week. Job

The role of Finance Officer will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

• Work closely with senior staff to support the running of all transactional finance; AP, AR, Payroll, Journal entries, etc.
• Assist with month end processes
• Creating budgets across multiple departments
• Monitoring performance against budget
• Ensure compliance with financial controls
• Match, batch & code invoices
• Reconcile credit card and bank statements
• Report to stakeholders both balances across projects
• Assist with all budget preparation
• Forecast cash-flow
• Assist with annual audit compliance
• Ad-hoc administrative tasks

You

As a Finance Officer you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

• Confidence in the above responsibilities
• An accounting qualification or QBE
• Experience working in charity accounting (restricted and unrestricted funds)
• Ability to pick up Sage 50 or similar accounting software immediately
• Great communicator and strong presenter of information
