ROLE
This is an opportunity to join Wiser’s Finance team. We’re not looking for someone who’s ready-made; we’re looking for someone who loves solving problems, has a growth mindset and an interest in finance! We’re looking for someone who has experience working in top-tier finance team so they can hit the ground running. The roles include many daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly repetitive tasks. So the right person doesn't mind the repetitive nature of the role and is not afraid of hard work.
Supporting the day-to-day financial operations, such as making sure our partners are paid, that our clients pay us and that our numbers reflect our performance.
This involves liaising with relevant internal teams to prepare and send invoices to our clients and ensuring timely payments.
Reconciliation of payments through our invoice financing platform.
Providing accurate cashflow forecasts based on payment terms and future invoices.
Processing of supplier invoices and internal expenses using our relevant finance systems.
Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
Working with the project managers to gather and analyse margins and figure out where we can perform better.
Look at our existing systems with a critical eye and figure out where we can make improvements, Supporting the month-end and reporting process.
Negotiating with, and onboarding, new suppliers.
Working on special projects that have an actual impact on Wiser.
What we want to see in you:
An interest in finance and how it can be applied in the real world
Experience of working in a top-tier finance team
Excellent skills in Excel and Google Sheets
Start-up mentality (we’re only 5% of the way there)
