Role Overview
As Finance Operations Associate you work closely with the Head of Operations to create financial processes that scale with the business as we grow. You play a key role in the smooth running of the business operations, and the scaling of systems and processes which allow the company to thrive and to achieve its vision of becoming the most widely-used events resource globally.
Your primary role is managing the Credit Control process, proactively emailing and calling debtors. We’re in a very exciting scale up period, and our finance team is quite fluid in terms of responsibilities, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to jump into payable, receivable and business accounts teams when needed to develop your experience.
Ultimately you’re at the forefront of building a fantastic business which scales with our growth and allows the company to achieve its bold objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Credit Control
- Working with the receivables team to collect debt ensure a minimum number of invoices are overdue after 30 days
- Monitoring and the Credit Control ticket inbox
- Calling all debtors to chase for payment
- Applying late payment charges
- Filing money claims when all reasonable steps have been taken to recover debt
- Financial Reporting
- Working with our external accountants to put together month end, year end and VAT reporting
- Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Helping to monitor and respond to accounts inboxes
- Triage new tickets
- Help man our accounts team phone

Logistics
This is a hybrid remote / in-person role. Our client base is predominantly in London and it is important that you are able to collaborate with your team, and attend our away days in-person. You can usually expect to be in/around London on average 2 days per week, usually working from our central London office.
