Finance Operations Lead

We are looking for an experienced Advertising/Media professional with a background in WIP, Billings and Accounts Receivable to join a leading media agency as a Finance Operations Lead. This role is paying £70k and is based in Central London (Hybrid Working). This is a newly created position reporting directly into the CFO.

The Role

• A key priority of this role is to improve management information so that Business leaders can make decisions based on numbers.
• The role will lead a team of five, helping to train the agency so they know how finance works, what their role is, and the importance of commercial consistency and contract compliance.
• You will also act as the main contact for all client audits as well as being the day-to-day finance contact for questions within the agency, working collaboratively with other stakeholders (e.g. client teams, agency finance and Shared Financial Services Centre "SFSC" teams) in both the agency and Group.
• Reporting to the agency CFO, this newly created role sits within a 14-strong finance team who look after c.£800m of annual billings in the agency.
• The team is structured along the three pillars of Finance Operations, Financial Reporting and Commercial, with this role leading the former which aims to drive financial operation excellence across the business.

Your Profile

• Prior experience in a Media/Advertising agency is essential.
• Only candidates coming from a background with WIP, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Working Capital Operations and Aged Debt are eligible to apply.
