SalaryWe are currently seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Finance Operations Manager who’s keen to find an exciting and pivotal role, where you will be responsible for overseeing and streamlining the operational processes of a successful financial division! This is a permanent office-based position located in Northamptonshire, working 9am-5.30pm Monday - Friday and offering a competitive salary.

The role:
- Review internal operational processes within the financial division and identify inefficiencies in existing processes
- Proactively research, review and develop best practices to enhance efficiency and ensure accuracy across all financial operations
- Identify training requirements within the teams and support with their career development
- Keep up to date and provide guidance on financial accounting principles, standards and regulations
- Work collaboratively across teams to drive process improvement
- Ensure that process controls are implemented with regards to the production and publishing of statutory accounts
- Responsible for tax and statutory compliance
You:
- Qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA, CTA)
- A minimum of 5 years experience within a senior accountant’s role
- Proven experience in overseeing and improving internal processes
- Good knowledge of compliance and tax procedures
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trend issues and seek opportunities for improvement
- Commercial awareness
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Good knowledge Microsoft Office
- Works well under pressure whilst managing conflicting priorities
- Highly organised with good planning skills
