Role Overview:
As the Finance Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, managing financial analysis, and providing accurate and timely reporting. You will oversee a team and collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including the Head of Finance, Global Shared Services, and external auditors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to the success of a globally recognized company.
Some of the Key Responsibilities:
- You will act as a trusted business partner to the Head of Finance and operational managers.
- You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with UK GAAP, US GAAP, and SOX regulations.
- You will drive process improvements to enhance the reliability and accuracy of financial information.
- You will manage working capital with a focus on accounts receivable and inventory control.
- You will coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and statutory tax auditors on accounting and auditing matters.
- You will oversee the preparation of statutory accounts, annual tax packs, and submission of VAT returns.
Role requirements:
- A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) with a degree in Business Administration, Finance & Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SAP and Hyperion for effective data management and reporting.
- 5-10 years of experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis within publicly held multinational companies.
- In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP, and SOX
- Proven experience in leading change initiatives and driving process improvements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with SAP and Hyperion.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong attention to detail.
