Financial Reporting Accountant

RECfinancial are currently shortlisting exclusively for this £250 million turnover Leicestershire based business as they look to strengthen their Finance function, recruiting a Financial Reporting Accountant. This is a newly created role, that supports the process of decision making and driving change across the wider business within Finance.
This hybrid role is commutable from Leicester, Nottingham and Derby.
Reporting through to an experienced and empowering Senior Finance Manager, this has strong elements of both Financial and Management Accounting.
Ideally, you'll be in a role Financial Accounting role with exposure to Costing, Budgets and Forecasting.
The role will involve managing the month end process, forecasting, variance analysis, budgets, and driving costing efficiency through reporting and analytics.
Working with other heads of departments, you'll work with commercial Business partners to drive profitability across all areas of the P&L, reviewing channels of income and expenditure, reporting through to key stakeholders and working with external auditors, providing analytical information where needed.
The role will suit someone who is potentially ACCA/ACA or CIMA qualified with at least 2/3 years experience in industry. Expose of leadership/management would be ideal as well.
