We are recruiting for a Finance Support Apprentice for an esteemed QA client. The company is a leading provider of debt recovery, enforcement, and citation services. The business is part of the UK’s largest judicial services group, providing integrated court order compliance.
The company supports the government, utilities and private sectors through the delivery of market leading integrated technology-enabled solutions from design and implementation to management and recovery.
This role will be supported by Business Administration SCQF Level 6 Modern Apprenticeship, delivered by QA Apprenticeships.
Responsibilities:
- Checking and recording notifications of all unpaid cheques from branches against bank statements
- Maintaining Accounts Department correspondence, including the internal and external mail
- Compiling information from BACS payments received via bank statements
- Updating cashbooks
- Checking purchase invoices, code, processing to Nominal Ledger, validating, producing suppliers cheque/BACS payment runs and dealing with queries
- Processing all payments received
- Downloading bank statements daily to allow IT to process payments to debtor accounts
Reconciling business bank accounts

Salary:
£21,255 per annum
Working week:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5:00pm (2x 15 minute breaks and 1 hour lunch)
