About The Company:
We oversee commercial gambling activities in Great Britain in collaboration with licensing authorities and operate as an independent non-departmental public body and receive sponsorship from the Department for Culture, Media, and Sport.
Role overview:
- You will contribute to the development and oversight of systems, ensuring their optimal utilization and accuracy of data to meet business requirements. Responsibilities include supporting the team through clear documentation outlining system usage (SOPs), utilizing system exception reporting for complete data input, validation, and accuracy, and assisting in adhering to data retention/deletion policies.
- You will play a key role in establishing best practice principles to underpin our processes and systems, ensuring their future resilience to deliver dependable and accurate operational mechanisms for staff and data outcomes. This involves maximizing data integrity and serving as a primary liaison between users and our software providers.
- The position will entail contributing to the definition of the new solution, performing data cleansing, migration, and testing, facilitating user acceptance testing and staff training, and providing support for the implementation of the new software from initial stages to post go-live.
Role requirements:
- Experience with the following: Excel, user of ICT, SQL and PowerBI.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships, demonstrating a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets.
- Good technical competence and understanding of web-based technologies.
