Robertson Bell are excited to partner with this growing academy trust as they go to market for a Finance Systems Project Lead on a permanent basis. This is the ideal opportunity for a driven finance professional who has gained in-depth exposure to finance systems administration and has an understanding of financial accounts.

In this Finance Systems Project Lead role, you will:

• Take charge in the implementation of the parent payment system, ensuring to create effective maps, identify areas for improvement and refine the reporting system.
• Provide essential support to the wider organisation by being a point of contact for systems queries and requests.
• Take the lead in identifying system and process improvements by liaising with the wider business and discovering common issues.
• Be fully responsible for the smooth operation of finance and procurement systems across the organisation and assist in developing processes, reports and updating reports in adherence to changing regulations.

Based in Bristol, this position boasts a hybrid working pattern, requiring you to go into the office just twice a week! The successful candidate will also benefit from an incredibly generous annual leave allowance, a competitive pension contribution and access to wellbeing services.

The successful candidate will:

• Have practical experience maintaining a finance system such as Unit 4, SAP or Oracle.
• Be a driven individual who is looking to learn new skills and develop their existing expertise.
• Have a curious and inquisitive nature, with an ability to identify process improvements.
• Be a confident communicator with the ability to liaise with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.
• Ideally, have led in a system implementation project across a large organisation.
• Come from, or have a strong desire to join, the education sector.
