IN2 Consult is partnering with a client who are looking for a Financial Accountant with long term visions of progressing to the Financial Controller. The client is a fast growing, PE backed business and you will work closely and report into the Financial Controller, responsible for preparation of the consolidated monthly group accounts and ownership of the financial accounting of the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and ownership of the monthly group consolidated reporting
• Goodwill and other acquisition adjustments
• Monthly reviews of the group’s balance sheet
• Owning the audits of the group holding companies
• Reporting under UK GAAP
• Working with the Financial Controller in year end compliance
• Preparation of the statutory consolidation workings
• Preparation of the statutory financial statements
• Review of the corporation tax returns
• Preparation of acquisition accounting for future acquisitions into the Group
• Be the first point of contact for any technical accounting requirement
• Other ad-hoc projects for the Financial Controller

Experience / Skills Required:

• ACA qualified with at least 1 year’s post qualification experience in industry
• Strong technical skills
• Completed the ACA through an established audit firm
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with statutory audits
• Experience with ERP systems
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines and to act on own initiative
• First class communication skills, including fluent in written and spoken English, competent at communicating at all levels with both finance and non-finance teams
