Description
- Overseeing the company's accounting operations in Anglesey, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Preparing financial statements and reports to support decision-making at the senior management level.
- Conducting financial forecasting and budgeting to facilitate strategic planning.
- Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting systems and processes.
- Working closely with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely audit processes.
- Analysing financial data and reports to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive financial reporting.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- FMCG industry experience preferred but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Excel skills.
