What you will be doing...
As a Financial Accountant this is a newly created role to add additional financial rigour within the organisation. Key areas of delivery will include:
* leading on the preparation of statutory accounts and annual regulatory returns
* Reviewing and updating accounting policies
* Managing the relationship with external agencies, including auditors throughout the audit process.
* Plan and organise the annual budget setting and subsequent forecasts for all entities in line with the financial and corporate strategy objectives.
* Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts and reports.

What you will need to offer....
* Recognised Accountancy Qualification - ACA / ACCA / CIPFA / CIMA or equivalent
* People development / team management experience and leading the finance function of a large organisation focussed on a coaching culture.
* Experience of operating at a senior level in the finance team within a regulated environment.
* Experience of statutory and regulatory report development
