The Opportunity

Modern, growing and acquisitive PE backed group in Manchester have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to join their team.

It’s a perfect time to join if you are ambitious and keen to progress. The group have delivered a record breaking year and the plans for 2024 and 2025 are incredible. They will be expanding internationally and forecast to complete a range of interesting acquisitions.

It will be a busy 24 - 36 months with challenging projects to contribute to, problems to solve - - lots of commercially focused stuff to get stuck into alongside the standard BAU reporting and month end requirements.

• You will ideally be working in a practice currently (high tier or professional regional firm) and be looking to make the transition to industry.
• You’ll have a degree or AAT and have qualified ACA.
• You’ll have a background in accounts prep or audit and be confident presenting and discussing financial information with a non finance audience.
• You’ll be someone who enjoys working as part of a team.

This is a perfect 1st step to industry for someone looking to progress into a senior commercial finance role or for someone who’s end game is getting to FD.
