Financial Accountant (Sap/Ifrs)

Our client is looking for an accountant to join their team permanently basis. Successful candidates will ideally be available to start a role in Q1 2024 and have IFRS and SAP experience within a consumer/retail organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Chief Accountant
• Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries;
• Complete statutory returns for Governmental and other bodies (Intrastat, ONS surveys);
• Prepare KPI reports for the team
• Control and review expenses
• Accounting in line with FRS 102 and IFRS
• Prepare and post monthly Group recharges
• Review and post capex accruals
• Analyse assets
• Review SAP data and carry out analysis and control of balances and depreciation charges
• Maintain the fixed assets register
• Payroll reconciliations
• Creditors - Checking aged debt Reconcile net wages and pension balances;
• Review accuracy of royalty charges
• Check the ageing of debt
• Preparation of monthly Intrastat returns for submission to HMRC, for UK and Ireland entities

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar financial accounting role
• Solid Financial Accounting knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS
• SAP experience
• Multinational business experience will be highly beneficial
• Retail/Consumer experience will be beneficial

This role is based in the Central London Soho area 4 days a week in the office 1 day a week home

Early finishes on a Friday throughout the year!

15% bonus + other benefits in addition to basic salary
