Description

As the Financial Accountant reporting into the Financial Director, you will be successfully responsible for the month end accounts alongside the reporting on a weekly, monthly and yearly process. This includes key duties such as balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.

Further responsibilities include stakeholder management with the wider financial and non financial organisation that includes contributing to the preparation and presentation of all forecasting and budgeting, adding commentary where necessary.

Other ad hoc duties apply, such as assisting with Audit so SOX, IFRS or US GAAP experience/knowledge would be very beneficial.

Profile

• Either AAT / ACA / CIMA / ACCA part qualified or Qualified by Experience.
• Has previous experience of either balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, audit, VAT, PNL or revenue for example.
• Knowledge of either IFRS, SOX or US GAAP is advantageous but not essential
• Understanding of forecasting or budgeting is again beneficial, but not essential
• Comfortable with Microsoft excel - either vlookups, pivot tables etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management
• Happy to be in the office 3 days a week
