Financial Accountant (Temporary)

Pay Rate: Circa £300 per day
We are currently seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our clients team for a 3-4 month assignment.
Responsibilities:
* Compile monthly and annual consolidations for both management and statutory purposes.
* Prepare and analyse monthly submissions to Investors, providing insightful commentary on management results.
* Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecasting processes.
* Coordinate year-end statutory accounts preparation and collaborate with auditors.
* Manage group treasury activities, including cash forecasting and hedging strategies.
* Take ownership of accounting/reporting for Head Office companies.
* Handle VAT and tax return preparation for holding companies.
* Support the Group Financial Controller in liaising with insurers, tax advisors, company secretarial, and legal advisors.
* Assist the CFO in various ad-hoc tasks and projects, including corporate transactions and reorganisations.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting skills.
* Demonstrated analytical prowess with meticulous attention to detail.
* Commercial acumen and business awareness.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
* Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
* Familiarity with IFRS.
* Previous experience with consolidations or multi-site businesses.
* Treasury experience, particularly in cash forecasting a big plus.
