The Role will consist of:
This role will support the Financial Accountant, working with the Financial Services Team to contribute to the delivery of Financial Business Plans.
Deliver Financial Services Business Plan, preparing bank reconciliations. Submitting grant claims and supporting the effective operation of the Financial Reporting Function:
- Advising Management on Finance Department plans.
- Assisting annual accounts statements.
- Assisting treasury management.
- Assisting development of computerised financial systems.
- Responding to FOI requests.
- Reconciliation of accounts.
- Reconciliation to General Ledger.
- Prepare Grant Claims.
- Liaise with funding bodies.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential:
- Member of CCAB or hold third level qualification in accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in computerised accruals accounting environment.
- Experience of Microsoft Office.
- Team communication skills.
- Strong analytical/numerical skills.
Desirable:
- Currently pursuing a course of study.
