MCS Group are recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a leading manufacturing company based in Belfast.
The Company:
Our client is a leading manufacturing company based in Belfast and with a client base expanding across Europe. Sitting at the forefront of technological development in their industry, our client have multiple divisions which manufacture and supply a range of products.
Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to recruit a Financial Controller to lead in the development of the finance function and provide key support to the Finance Director.

The Role:
As a successful Financial Controller with a background of working in the manufacturing industry, you will already be familiar with the core technical functions associated with your role.
In addition to managing and leading a team, you will encourage continued professional development and process improvements. You will liaise effectively across all levels of the business, communicate with external financial service providers and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
You will regularly utilise relevant financial software and packages, analyse data, and ensure compliance with company policies, processes and regulatory requirements. Reporting back to Senior Leadership and Board with high-quality outputs and analysis.
The Person:
As a successful Financial Controller, you will meet the following criteria:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA;
- Previous relevant industry experience;
- Previous managerial experience;
- Strong commercial awareness and technical skills, to include data analysis and software use.
