Apple Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, a Northern Ireland based organisation with a global presence in a sector that has been gaining world-wide prominence in the last few years. We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong accounting background and experience of leading a team, to join a fast-moving, and talented organisation. The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role, establishing adaptable systems in this evolving organisation, simplifying reporting procedures, promoting a culture of quality, value and success as well as working with external stake holders.
You will support the Finance Director with treasury and Banking Management, overseeing the banking function and managing the end-to-end cash process and treasury operations. You will collaborate closely with funding partners to negotiate financial facilities and oversee short to medium-term cash flow and capital needs. Leveraging your established network to identify and cultivate new funding relationships in support of the company's future growth objectives.
You will need:
* A strong accountancy background, with experience in SME and multinationals.
* In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS and UK VAT/ tax as well as European VAT and tax.
* A positive, team-orientated leadership style with experience if motivating and developing team members.
* Proven ability in financial planning and analysis.
* Proficiency in excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
