Financial Analyst - Negotiable Salary - Edinburgh

My client, a leader in their respected domain, are on the lookout for a new Financial Analyst to join their expanding team based out of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management and development of financial systems, producing reports and analysis, whilst aiding in forecasting, planning, and production.

This position will operate on a hybrid working model requiring the successful candidate to work onsite 3 days per week.

The salary for this role is also negotiable, this will be dependent on skills, experience, and any relevant Anaplan certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the maintenance and development for the planning & forecasting systems (preferably Anaplan)
• Assist in the life cycle process for all Anaplan models
• Assist with projects to improve processes and support key functions within the business.
• Assist in business analysis, opportunity identification & requirements gathering for the Business Applications.
• Take the business analysis and using data modelling create model changes or develop a model to support the opportunity identified.
• Develop and maintain a documentation structure for the Anaplan models.
• Work closely with the teams responsible for the ERP and reporting systems.
• Assess complex issues involving our information and forecasting systems to produce innovative solutions.
• Liaise with key stakeholders from Finance, Commercial and other departments around the business to successfully implement changes.

Requirements:

• Degree in either Computer Science, Math's, or similar alternative
• At least 3+ years' experience working as an Analyst in a Financial setting
• Advanced Excel skills
• ERP systems and reporting experience
• Financial reporting, planning, and forecasting
• A financial qualification (Desirable)
• Anaplan experience (Highly Desirable)
