We are currently seeking a qualified accountant to join our high-growth European Manufacturing business based in Warrington. As a Commercial Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in providing insightful management information and financial analysis to aid decision-making.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Financial Controller role include:

• Producing monthly and quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, variance analysis, and KPI reports.
• You will be responsible for timely month-end closing across our three sites, analysing margin performance and operational costings, and managing stock and supplier payment terms.
• Additionally, you will shape and review business performance to drive improvements in operational and financial outcomes.
• Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to lead the development and improvement of processes, controls, and systems, including the implementation of a new ERP system.

To be considered for this position, you must:

• CIMA or ACCA qualified and have a strong commercial acumen.
• Have a passion for analysis and business performance reviews is essential
• Have previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
