We are proud to be working with a wonderful charity with an excellent reputation for supporting their community, in recruiting to the newly created role of Financial Controller. The charity operates in a niche specialism and provides first class care.
Your new role
Reporting into a Finance Director, you will have responsibility for leading a finance team of 4, in producing robust management, financial and statutory accounts. You will have a proven track record of providing an excellent business partnering service for your non-finance budget holders and will work with them to ensure detailed cashflow and budget management. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of managing payroll with relatively complex details involved. You will provide the Senior Leadership Team with detailed analysis and reports and have an appetite to improve and develop current systems, controls and processes.
What you\'ll need to succeed
We are seeking a CCAB Qualified Accountant and the client is happy to consider candidates with either a commercial or charities background. You will have significant commercial acumen and the ability to add real value to your budget holders and employer.
