SalaryI am working with a US listed technology company, who are actively seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join their growing team. This is a new role created due to recent growth, it's an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team. You will be liaising with the US to consolidate results and present them to the board of directors/ c-suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Financial Reporting function, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and provide insightful analysis for decision-making.
- Oversee the financial close process, reconciliations, and variance analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implement necessary updates to Financial Reporting processes.
- Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and address any audit queries.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions and drive financial performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- ACA qualification is mandatory.
- 6-8 years experience in senior finance roles
- US GAAP experience.
- Proven experience as a Financial Reporting Manager or similar reporting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Financial Reporting standards.
- Experience liaising with property companies or data centres is advantageous.
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a large team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
