What you’ll do
Finance Operations and Margin Assurance (FOMA) delivers services to the Finance organisation and businesses for all Group of Hyper entities. It is accountable for the delivery of all financial actuals and secure margin and value across all Hyper markets globally. This role has operational accountability for month end reporting, financial consolidation of results of all Hyper legal entities, balance sheet reconciliation, statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy in accounting, reporting and controls with audit and regulatory compliance accountability.
- Delivers consolidated financial accounts for all group of Hyper entities monthly in line with external and internal accounting policies & standards
- Provides reporting utilising HFM, SAP, SAP BI and other local Financial Reporting tools, ensuring that the requirements of the business and external stakeholders in accounting, reporting and analysis are fully met
- Responsible for communicating underlying financial trends (analysis & insights) to finance leadership team and other senior business stakeholders as required
- Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of quarterly, half yearly and annual certification to Group FinOps, Group Reporting and Group Regional Finance, to confirm accuracy of financial performance and compliance with policy
- Adheres to local and international accounting and regulatory standards
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CIMA/ACCA qualified 10+ Years PQE
- Experience in management accounting, preferably cost accounting and IFRS
- Customer/business partner focus, business awareness – knowledge of the industry; ability to understand what is important for wider company needs (including cross functional & strategic) as well as individual business owners
- Excellent cooperation, coordination and communication skills to ensure a transparent representation of the results, processes and procedures and to influence multiple stakeholders
