HR GO Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic character to join one of the manufacturing companies based in Scunthorpe as a Financial Controller. This worldwide company is a leader in rail manufacturing and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be experienced working in a similar role and able to demonstrate the knowledge required.
You will be responsible for the control and administration of the financial functions, ensuring that the company abides by legislation and financial standards.
General Duties of Financial Controller:
- Production of monthly and annual management accounts
- Production of budgets and forecasts
- Advise on insurance issues and ensure adequate cover.
- Company secretary duties
- Manage financial, administration, HR, and payroll personnel.
- Act as a member of the company's senior management team
General Requirements of Financial Controller:
- Adhere to UK accounting standards.
- Ability to work within company and taxation legislation.
- Comfortable presenting and interacting with large groups.
- Strong independent and team worker.
- This role will require a small amount of international travel on occasion to meet business needs, the willingness and ability to do this is preferable.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA or similar
- 5 GCSE'S Grade A - C
- Degree level desirable but not essential.
- BTEC National Diploma Business & Finance/GNVQ Advanced Business or A Levels.
