What you'll be doing...
This is a genuinely interesting opportunity as whilst the plan is for the successful candidate to use their financial accounting skills and experience to manage the transactions team, develop internal controls and review financial control processes, policies and procedures as well as lead on the production of management accounts and reporting on balance sheet, cashflow etc the long term plan is to work closely with the finance business partner and transition to a situation where you may take on more of the business partnering focussed tasks and they will pick up on more of the Financial Controller role to further their personal development.
What you'll need to offer...
* You'll be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent
* Strong Accounting Knowledge combined with good commercial and business awareness
* Experience of producing accurate finance data and of month end close.
* A flexible, pro-active and willing approach and be comfortable working within a small team.
* An innovative and inquisitive mind to challenge and improve existing and new process and controls.
